Step-by-Step

1. Create a ticket at DigiBandit.com/ticket,
2. Pay a deposit and sign the Data Recovery Agreement,
3. We’ll diagnose the issue with your media, providing a report and estimate for recovery,
4. Once the estimate is approved, we’ll start the Data Recovery Process and get as much data back to you as possible,
5. We’ll copy your Recovered Data onto a new drive and have it ready for you to collect,
6. Collect your recovered data on your new drive, square up any remaining balance, and you are good to go!

Deposit & Paperwork

• The Non-Refundable Deposit covers the opening and the testing of your drive in a Data Recovery Lab, along with fees for our tools.
• The Data Recovery Agreement (example) covers a general agreement covering our actions.
• The base covers diagnostics, estimates, reports and standard recovery efforts!
• Any further recovery efforts, parts or support are billed in addition to the base rate!
• Pre-approval of the minor recovery price is required, this fee is only charged if successful!

Starting Out

• The bulk of the cost is determined once the recovery process starts. This is based on how much work is necessary.
• To start, you must agree to pay the “Minor Recovery” fee, but if the job is more advanced and is considered a “Major Recovery,” you will be contacted for approval.

Service Fees

• Data Recovery Service fees are tiered, meaning that if your estimate shows “Minor Recovery” but turns into a “Major Recovery,” you are only charged for the “Major Recovery,” as this includes the cost of performing a “Minor Recovery.”
• If any changes happen that would increase your final price, we will request approval before continuing!
• We only charge you these fees if the Data Recovery is successful. We judge success by recovering any amount of data from a drive.
